Welcome to the Spectator, bringing you a review of all the days action game by game, presented to you by the faces of the World Sevens, the one, the only award winning Rugby League Micronational Commentary team: Jimmy & Johnny

Pool A

Skerry Scuttlers v Yardistan Rebels

Yardistan Captain Frank T Dugford capped a remarkable comeback from injury (this was only his second match in the World Sevens) by scoring the winning drop goal to give the Rebels a very close 7-6 win over the Scuttlers. Skerry goalkicker (and God) Steven Richards kicked three goals for his team but it wasn't enough to secure the victory.

Lechardten Region v Treesian Knights

The Treesian Knights totally trashed the team from New Macadam today, running out eventual winners 22-4. Tries went to Eoin Dornan, Scott Siskind and Captain Iain Jacobson. Eoin kicked five goals from seven attempts. This puts Treesia to the top of Pool A with one round to go!

Amerada Aeros v Empire of Crofton

Today Crofton proved that the Empire is still stronger than a Republic (damnfangled democracy) by defeating the Aeros 10-6. All the points scored were penalty goals.

Pool B

Kingdom of the Pups v Free Republic Independents

The Free Republic won 16-8, putting them equal on points with the Pups but below them on for and Against Aggregate.

Wirraram Region v Tallandor Toreadors

The Bullfighters demolished the Wirraram side today, 14-8 at Dockside Football Stadium.

Nova Pacaria Pirates v Califario Bears

A re-match of last years Grand Final, but in very different circumstances. This time the loser got the wooden spoon. (awarded to the last team in each pool) and the winner carried two valuable points into the Bowl Super Six series. After eighty minutes, last years bridesmaides, Nova Pacaria had extracted revenge coming up winners 12-10.

Pool C

Rest of New Macadam v New Bruges Earls

Whatever has happened to the high-scoring New Bruges side of the early rounds? Rest of New Macadam (once dubbed the Ramshackle New Macadam side by us here at The NUT Media Group) really took them to the cleaners with a 20-2 win. The Earls only managed a single penalty.

Terra Firma Tigers v Aerlig Vanquishers

The Tigers completed there undeafeated streak by defeating the Vanquishers 16-6. Terra Firma now go onto the Cup Super Six while Aerlig compete for the Bowl.

Most Serene Empire of the Cumquat v Tebec Titans

Throughout the World Sevens campaign the MSE has only had one thing going for them, Tebec is worse than them. They proved this today with a 12-2 win over the Titans. Due to a superior For and Against the MSE have, remarkably, made the Bowl Quarters. Tebec has not won a game in the World Sevens so far (or this whole season!) and obviously move onto the Plate.
