Welcome to the Spectator, bringing you a review of all the days action game by game, presented to you by the faces of the World Sevens, the one, the only award winning Rugby League Micronational Commentary team: Jimmy & Johnny
Its day eleven of World Sevens action! (or so we've been told, we've been drunk on sherry since last week sometime)
The Cup
Farren Eayst Rangers v Kingdom of the Pups
The Rangers slaughtered the Pups like a pack of dogs, 8-2. Eayst is clearly on top of the table while the Pups will strugle to reach the Semis.
Rest of New Macadam v Treeisan Knights
The Ramshackle Macadamians stuck one into the Knights with a 13-8 victory. Much like the Rohan the Macadamians had there backs against the wall until a late minute charge vanquished the Knights, who turned and fled. Both of these teams should make the Semis.
The Bowl
Wirraram Region v Empire of Crofton
Wirraram defeated Crofton easily, 14-2, in this Bowl Super Six match. Wirraram are now sailing at the top of the Pool while Crofton is still a competitive Third.
Most Serene Empire of the Cumquat v Yardistan Rebels
Cumquat looked dead after being second to last in Pool C, but they have found how to win (score more points than the other side) and are doing just that! Three consecutive wins for Cumquat, defeating the Rebels 12-2. Oh how the mighty have fallen, Yardistan are not looking like they will make the Semi's.
The Plate
Skerry Scuttlers v Aerlig Vanquishers
The Scuttlers are in top form, top of the table, Aerlig is still thrid tho even after losing to the Scuttlers 14-8.
Califario Bears v Lechardten Region
The Bears ripped apart the home team in a rear victory for the Defending Champs. 13-8 to the Bears at fulltime. Lechardten in now looking favourites for the Wooden Spoon, Califario is pushing for a Semi Final Spot.
Nova Pacaria Pirates v Tebec Titans
Its all gone wrong for the Titans after a two match winning streak. They lost to the Pirates 20-10. Pacaria look to have secured a Semi Final spot while Tebec have at least avoided the Wooden Spoon it seems and may still make the Semis yet. These two teams met earlier in the year, Pacaria won 12-4.
